This is my 42.
In Douglas Adams' book, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, the number 42 is referred to as the "Answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything." It was calculated by a supercomputer named Deep Thought over a period of 7.5 million years. Interestingly, the ASCII code for 42 is the asterisk symbol, which is a wildcard for everything. Some interpret the meaning of 42 in the book to suggest that life is what we make of it. My book, "42" is my own exploration of life's big questions and how we can define our own purpose.
So yeah, this is my 42.
My book is divided into three parts: my personal answer to the questions of what life is, why we should live it, and how I plan on living it. The final draft of the first part, "What is life," is now complete. I am currently working on the next two parts and I plan to offer early drafts of these sections to the first 420 people who purchase the book. By doing so, they will have the opportunity to participate in the writing process and provide feedback on the book's development.
